Tayrona Beijing Go Wild 2

Go Wild 2

Since 2023 Singing Deer and Green Pasture Camps (GPC) offer a wilderness camp. If you are looking for a camp for a teen who loves being in nature, or enjoys taking on challenges, this is the perfect opportunity. “GO WILD” is an English immersion camp. Besides learning about survival skills, your teen will be able to improve English communication skills.

Skills your teen will learn how to

  • Prioritize the environment and reduce our impact on nature.
  • Keep our campsite clean and safe (Camping Hygiene)
  • Ensure safe drinking water
  • Navigate an unknown place
  • Set up a tent
  • Build a simple shelter
  • Cook a simple campsite meal
  • Do basic first aid

Highlights

Go Wild is physically challenging as well as mentally challenging. Some days are spent at the base camp, but there is also hiking, backpacking and team-building activities. Thus, your child can improve in mental strength, determination and physical fitness. The camp is led by foreign instructors who love nature and camping.

All campers will be able to practice their leadership skills, since we will run activities that motivate teens to lead and brainstorm ideas as a team. Survival skills include the ability to work together and help one another.  All of those skills are important to build global competence and will help your teen to become a successful global citizen. This week in nature will help your child to mature and improve the ability to make better choices.
