Your Child Will:
· Walk through 3,000 years of history at iconic landmarks like the Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, and the ancient city walls.
· Connect with tradition by exploring hutongs (historic alleys), learning calligraphy, and cooking authentic dishes like the Old Beijing Fried Sauce Noodles (Zha Jiang Mian, 炸酱面).
· Meet modern Beijing through visits to the futuristic CCTV Tower, 798 Art District, and Olympic Village.
· Hear living history during a special interview with a local “Beijing Grandpa” who shares stories of growing up in the city.

Flexible Camp Durations: Campers can join for 1, 2, or 3 weeks, with each week offering a unique itinerary and fresh experiences. Since no two weeks are the same, kids can attend more than one week!

Overview of this Adventure
Below is the tentative camp itinerary for each day. Changes may occur due to weather or other unexpected factors.

Week 1 Ancient Wonders & Hands-On Creativity
Day 1: Begin at the Temple of Heaven, where emperors prayed for good harvests, then practice calligraphy near Qianmen Street.
Day 2: Wander XiCheng’s hutongs, discovering hidden courtyards and learning how these neighborhoods shaped Beijing’s identity.
Day 3: Discover the ruins of the Beijing City Wall and some of the still standing Gates, later visit the National Art Museum.
Day 4: Unleash creativity in a pottery class at the trendy 798 Art District, followed by outdoor games in Chaoyang Park.
Day 5: Master the art of noodle-making and celebrate with a rooftop closing ceremony!


Week 2 Imperial Grandeur & Modern Marvels
Day 1: Cruise Kunming Lake at the Summer Palace, then ascend the CCTV Tower for panoramic city views.
Day 2: Climb the Drum and Bell Towers to imagine ancient timekeeping, then relax in Jingshan Park’s imperial gardens.
Day 3: Spend a morning in Houhai Park, followed by a tour in the Chinese National Theater.
Day 4: Explore China’s diverse cultures at Minority Park and sprint across the Olympic Village’s Bird’s Nest stadium.
Day 5: Fold dumplings with pros and toast to new friendships under the stars!


Week 3 Hidden Stories & Global Connections
Day 1: Uncover secrets at Prince Kung’s Mansion, a Qing-dynasty gem, and try your hand at calligraphy.
Day 2: Stroll through Sanlitun’s embassy district, glimpsing global influences along the Liangma River.
Day 3: Reflect at the Old Summer Palace ruins, then tour Peking University, a cradle of China’s brightest minds.
Day 4: Learning more about Confucius, visiting his temple and having lunch at a famous restaurant(金鼎轩) near Ditan Park, with games at the park and finish the day at Lama Temple.
Day 5: Stir-fry like a chef and bid farewell with a rooftop feast!
